What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — across page loads.

Cookies we use

DocIQ uses a minimal set of cookies, plus Microsoft Clarity for anonymized product analytics (session recording, to help us find and fix confusing parts of the interface). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or ad-network analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel).

dociq_session— Stores your encrypted session token. Required for login to work.

dociq_theme— Remembers your light/dark mode preference.

dociq_tenant— Stores your active tenant context for multi-tenant accounts.

_clck / _clsk— Set by Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized session behavior (clicks, scrolling, page navigation) so we can see where the product is confusing and fix it. Form fields and file content are masked and never captured. Not set on internal admin pages. See Microsoft’s Clarity privacy statement for details on how this data is processed.

What we do not use

No advertising or remarketing cookies
No ad-network analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.)
No social media tracking pixels
No cross-site tracking of any kind
No recording on internal admin or superadmin pages

Managing cookies

Required cookies cannot be disabled — the application will not function without them. Optional preference cookies (theme) can be cleared by resetting your browser cookies for this domain.

Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies in their settings. Note that blocking required cookies will prevent you from logging in.
